Description

The supplementary material contains data used for the publication "Relationships between individual animal variation in dry matter intake and animal performance and feed efficiency" (DOI: 10.15232/aas.2024-02583). This manuscript presents associations between animal variation in dry matter intake with growth performance, feed efficiency indexes, and carcass characteristics.

This data was collated from 3, previously published experiments (Beck et al., 2023, DOI: 10.15232/aas.2023-02435; Proctor et al., 2024, DOI: 10.1093/jas/skae167; Foote et al., 2024, DOI: 10.1093/jas/skae050). These experiments collected daily intake, growth performance, feed efficiency, and carcass data from individual animals. The methods are outlined in the associated manuscripts.
